At the foot of Sutera, one of the most beautiful villages in Italy, in the heart of the Sicilian hinterland and a few kilometers from the Valley of the Temples in Agrigento, the Azienda Agricola Vescovi Emanuela was born.
We are located about 400 meters above sea level, in a karst area that has always been devoted to olive growing, where nature still dictates its rhythms.
The property now covers 12 hectares, with more than 2,500 olive trees, 200 almond trees of the Thunder variety and centuries-old pistachio trees. The olive trees sink their roots into limestone marl soils with chalk outcrops, a unique soil shaped by time, caressed by sea breezes and cooled by mountain air.
Our olives are exclusively hand-harvested, with grazing, between the end of September and the first decade of October. They are carefully selected and cold milled within 6-12 hours of harvesting to preserve their integrity, fragrance and quality to the fullest.
It is in this balance between nature, time and human labor that our extra virgin olive oils are born. We cultivate and enhance the native Biancolilla, Nocellara del Belice and Giarraffa cultivars, the protagonists of our Santulì blend, the highest expression of the territory and its identity.

Since 2025, thanks to the acquisition of new land, we have also started the production of a new blend from over 200-year-old “Li Siculari” olive trees, silent guardians of an agricultural history that spans the centuries. The cultivars featured in the blend are not only the traditional Nocellara del Belice, Giarraffa and Biancolilla, but also the Cerasuola and Carolea cultivars.
Our philosophy is to enhance the most traditional aspects of olive growing, in perfect synergy with respect for the land, the environment and all the people who take care of it every day.
Eager to produce an oil of excellence, we are guided by the knowledge that extra virgin olive oil is not a simple complement to dishes, but the element capable of enriching them with nuance, identity and personality.
